We met Mike on Aug. 2, 2016 when he was a kitten. We tried interacting with a few of the other kittens, but they were mostly interested in the food being prepared for them. Mike, though, was another story. Alone in his kennel, he caught our attention by purring loudly, drawing my husband Scot to him from across the room. Our “domestic shorthair” kitten grew into a 16 lbs. snuggly fluff. We kept his shelter name and have enjoyed his sweet personality ever since. He originally came from Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m glad that we had a chance to meet him and tuck him into our family.
