I started volunteering at CAT a month after the shelter first opened. It was a long drive from the far east side of Portland to Sherwood. But every Thursday for two years, my daughter and I made the journey.
We fed kitties, cleaned cages, did laundry, washed litter boxes….and played with the kitties!
Some that I can remember were Tyson, Goldbug, Maggie and George.
Fun memories!
