This morning as I was cuddling my favorite kitty cat in the world, I kept thinking about how grateful I am for The Cat Adoption Team. Only to stumble upon this portion of their page where I could share my experience adopting my best friend from here. When I was 17 my family took me to CAT and I was so entranced by how safe and welcoming the adoption center was, most are cold and dark and not such a happy place for kitties to find their forever homes in. Then I made eye contact with this 11 month year old black cat named Enzo. He was super sweet and friendly. I fell in love. The volunteers told me he was one of their favorites, and I knew why. He is 6 years old now, and I’m so lucky to have been able to share such a big part of my life with him. I am so lucky to be able to give him all the love, cuddles, food and safety he and every other kitty in the world deserves. He’s been there for me when no one else has been, he makes me smile and reminds me of all the good that there is in the world.
