I appreciated CAT allowing 1:1 with multiple kitties to see which one I bonded with, unlike other shelters which made this process difficult. After my beloved 18 y.o. passed, I went searching for another fur baby. Enter Rita, 6 months, FIV + with a fever but she endeared me by flipping upside down and looking at me with her big eyes! I was cautioned that her teeth needed some work. Poor baby, her gums were bright red. I adopted Lili (Rita) and was happy to hear that her mom Abiza was adopted by another family a few days later. She fit right in, she is such a sweet, mellow and friendly kitty. Fast forward a month and at 7 months I was advised to have her teeth removed, which I did, all of them. Lili adjusted well and is a happy playful 11 month old! Her favorite toys are cardboard boxes and paper bags! Thank you CAT!
