I wasn’t always a cat person…then the pandemic happened.
So much was changing. The world was in crisis. I had just moved out on my own, and my mental health was not in a great place. My therapist suggested a furry companion to help ease my anxiety, and long story short: Giorno came into my life.
Exactly 1 year ago, my partner and I brought him home for the first time. I still remember the tags on his CAT application: “Handsome, Curious, Affectionate” — Giorno turned out to be all of that, and more! He’s speedy and loves to play, enjoys cuddles and naps together, and never forgets to greet me when I come home from work.
Of course there are the occasional 3 a.m., zoomies and sporadic ankle bites (more so for my partner than for me), but Giorno has seriously brought so much love and joy into our lives, I cannot imagine my days without him. I’m so grateful to CAT for all the work they do to make sure their feline friends find a true forever home. Thank you for bringing Giorno into our lives!
