Clover the Cat’s Story

To All My Admirers at CAT,

As you may know my twentieth birthday is fast approaching and it has come to my attention that I may want to send you a quick note to update you on my progress. Since leaving your fine facility in October 2006 I’ve done remarkably well. But first things first. Many thanks to the Man who found my mangled body in the gutter and brought me to CAT. He made my future life possible. He is a true hero.

I don’t remember this part, but apparently there were doctors who had to fix me up. When they were done, I only had three legs but let me tell you, they are mighty fine legs. Who needs four anyway?

And now to my all my admirers, I mean all the volunteers who cared for me while I was waiting for my wonderful family to find me. There are so many to thank so let’s just do a big MWAH to all.

My family, where do I start? Mom and Dad saw me online and of course their hearts melted. They rushed to your facility, signed the papers and scurried me home to their cute little apartment in SW Portland. I was a different girl back then, afraid of my own shadow. I hid a lot. But Mom and Dad saw my potential and I’ll be forever grateful to them…

So, my people, mark your calendars, Friday, March 17, 2023. The glorious day I turn twenty.

Again, thanks to all,
Clover
