We’re in Give!Guide 2024

It’s on! CAT is thrilled to be part of Willamette Week’s Give!Guide this year. This annual campaign highlights 250+ outstanding nonprofits making a real difference in the Portland metro area. From November 1 to December 31, explore giveguide.org to learn about and support local charities.

As you browse Give!Guide, we invite you to check out a couple of our favorites. Basic Rights Oregon fights for the rights of every LGBTQ2SIA+ Oregonian. Familias en Acción, empowers Latino/x/é communities through culturally specific health promotion programs. Portland Animal Welfare (PAW) Team is keeping pets and people together by providing veterinary care to the pets of those experiencing houselessness or extreme poverty. The efforts of these nonprofits — and many others — helps improve the quality of life for all of us!

Do good, get good stuff. Every Give!Guide donor gets thank you gifts from Willamette Week. And when you donate on Big Give Days, you’ll be entered into raffles for BIG prizes like concert tickets, travel, and shopping sprees. Plus, CAT is working with Annie Bloom’s Books and Sweet Pickles Designs on some fun activities and gifts for you too.

2x Match for Young Donors: One of CAT’s supporters is on a mission! At 84 years old, this self-proclaimed “old fart” says she still cares about animal welfare and making the world a better place. To inspire the next generation to join the cause, she is going to double every Give!Guide donation to CAT from anyone age 35 and under, up to a total of $5,000! This generous match is offered in memory of Walt and in honor of Lily.

Let’s do good together. Learn more: giveguide.org/nonprofits/cat.
