(June 14, 2024) – One of the largest pet adoption events in the Portland metro area, Kitten Palooza at Cat Adoption Team (CAT), returns in 2024 to match over 100 adorable kittens with loving new families in a single day.
Kittens of various ages, colors, and purr-sonalities will be available to adopt during this special, one-day adoption event. Many adult cats are also looking for love.

Why: Peak breeding season upon us, and animal shelters are reaching capacity rapidly. This is the perfect opportunity to adopt a kitten and help make space for more cats and kittens in need.
Kitten Palooza is free to attend, but visitors will need to put in an application in advance to schedule an appointment. Applications for the event will open on Saturday, June 15, starting at 10 a.m. The adoption event itself will be held on Saturday, June 22. The adoption fee for a kitten is $225, with a $20 discount for those adopting two kittens together. All kittens at the event will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Adopters receive a starter bag of kitten food, a feline care booklet, and a certificate for a free veterinary exam. The first 100 event attendees will also receive a goodie bag filled with kitten toys and other delightful giveaways.
