(May 30, 2025) – One of the largest pet adoption events in the Portland metro area, Kitten Palooza at Cat Adoption Team (CAT), returns in 2025 to match more than 100 adorable kittens with loving new families in a single day.
Kittens of various ages, colors, and purr-sonalities will be available to adopt during this special, one-day adoption event. Many adult cats are also looking for love.
What: Kitten Palooza – the largest kitten adoption event in the area
When: Tuesday, June 17, 10 a.m., Appointment scheduling opens
Saturday, June 21, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Adoption event by appointment between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and walk-in hours between 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Why: Peak breeding season upon us, and animal shelters are reaching capacity rapidly. This is the perfect opportunity to adopt a kitten and help make space for more cats and kittens in need.
Kitten Palooza is free to attend. Appointment scheduling for the event will open on Tuesday June 17, starting at 10 a.m. The adoption event itself will be held on Saturday, June 21. Full event details and a link to apply can be found at catadoptionteam.org/palooza.
The adoption fee for a kitten is $112.50, a 50% discount during the event. All kittens at the event will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Adopters receive a starter bag of kitten food, a feline care booklet, and a certificate for a free veterinary exam. The first 100 event attendees will also receive a goodie bag filled with kitten toys and other delightful giveaways.
