Kitten Week is here!
We’ve got lots of fun activities happening leading up to our largest adoption event of the year — Kitten Palooza! And to kick things off, here’s a challenge for all you crafty and creative cat lovers!
Have you got what it takes to “create a kitten”? Choose one of the three kittens shown above (Doughnut, Road Runner, or Scallop) and re-create that kitten in your own style! You could use LEGO®, paint or draw, needle-point, baking, sculpture — pretty much any way you want to “create a kitten”. All ages welcome to participate!
Once you’ve got a finished product, take a snap of it and share on social media. Participants will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a prize package of cat-themed goodies for themselves and the kitties in their life!
To submit a photo of your final product, post the pic and tag Cat Adoption Team in your post caption on Facebook (@Cat Adoption Team), Instagram (@catadoptpdx), or Twitter (@catadopt) and include the hashtag #PaloozaCreation. You can also send a picture of your creation by email to [email protected].
For entry into the sweepstakes, submissions must be received by 7 p.m. (PT) on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Winner will be announced on Sunday, June 26, 2022. See full sweepstakes rules below.

- Post a photo of your creation to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and tag Cat Adoption Team in your post caption along with the hashtag #PaloozaCreation, or email photo to [email protected].
- Submissions must be received no later than 7 p.m. (PT) on June 25, 2022.
- Anyone can share a submission; entry in sweepstakes open to U.S. residents only.
- No limit on submissions but each qualified participant will be entered into the sweepstakes drawing only once, regardless of total number of submissions.
- No purchase necessary to participate.
- Winner will be selected by random drawing and announced on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
- Participants grant Cat Adoption Team permission to use and share their image for noncommercial use only; original creator retains copyright.
- Cat Adoption Team is the sole sponsor of this sweepstakes.
