Hours of Operation
Adoption Hours — walk-in, no appointment needed!
Tuesday – Sunday (Closed Mondays)
Noon to 6 p.m.
Adoptions end 30 minutes before closing
Holiday Hours
CAT is closed on all federal holidays. We close at 3 p.m. on December 24 and December 31.
Directions to CAT’s Sherwood shelter
Take the Nyberg St/Tualatin-Sherwood Rd exit from I-5. Head west on Tualatin-Sherwood Rd. Bear left to stay on Tualatin-Sherwood Rd. Go 3.5 miles to Gerda Ln (from I-5, it’s just after the second set of railroad tracks). Turn right at the light for Gerda Ln. Make an immediate right onto Galbreath Dr.
CAT is the second building on the left (across from the DMV).
Offsite Adoption Centers
In addition to our Sherwood shelter, you can find cats for adoption from CAT at Petco in Tualatin and at CAT Thrift Store in Southwest Portland, Oregon. Adoption hours vary by location.
