We’re In Give!Guide 2023

Four different cat photos surround the Willamette Week's Give!Guide logo

Hooray! CAT is excited to be included once again in Willamette Week’s Give!Guide. This annual initiative shines a spotlight on more than 200 remarkable nonprofits making a difference in the Portland metro area. From November 1 to December 31, 2023, use Give!Guide to learn about and support local charities.

As you browse giveguide.org, we invite you to check out a couple of our favorites. Basic Rights Oregon fights for the rights of every LGBTQ2SIA+ Oregonian through legislative advocacy, leadership development, trainings, and more. PAW Team is keeping pets and people together by providing veterinary care to the pets of those experiencing houselessness or extreme poverty. The efforts of these nonprofits—and many others—boosts the quality of life for all of us!

Do good, get good stuff. Every Give!Guide donor gets thank you gifts from Willamette Week. And you could get a little somethin’ extra when you support CAT. Our first 15 donors will receive a $20 gift certificate to Annie Bloom’s Books. Plus, take 10% off one item in store when you show your CAT-Give!Guide donation receipt at checkout. And join us on Dec. 1-4 for a Book Fair to Benefit CAT. Grab a ticket for a terrarium-making workshop on November 30 or December 2 at Sweet Pickles Designs, and you can craft your own goodie while you give back—a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to CAT.

Double Dip Match for Young Donors. One of CAT’s donors is on a mission! At 83 years old, this self-proclaimed “old fart” says she still cares about animal welfare and wants to inspire the next generation to join the cause. This year, she’ll match every Give!Guide donation to CAT from anyone age 35 and under, up to a total of $5,000!

Let’s do good together. Learn more: giveguide.org/nonprofits/cat
