Interested in volunteering? Attend CAT’s New Volunteer Orientation at our Sherwood Shelter! The session will last approximately 90 minutes and will include information about the wide variety of volunteer opportunities CAT has available.

You do not need to RSVP. A link to the volunteer application will be provided at orientation. Parking available in the shelter parking lot; ample street parking also available.

Children must be at least 12 years old to volunteer; volunteers under 16 years old must volunteer alongside a parent/guardian during every shift.

Quake Up! with Disaster Preparedness for Pets

When: Saturday, October 1, 2016

Beaverton Farmers’ Market - located across from the city Library on SW Hall Blvd (between 3rd and 5th)

Join us at Quake Up! where CAT will be sharing information about Disaster Preparedness for Pets, including how to create a 72-hour “Go Kit” for your pets (cats and dogs), as well as other tips and tricks to help make sure you and your pets are ready in the case of disaster.

Quake Up! is a hands-on educational event presented by the Washington County CPO Program in partnership with the Beaverton Farmers’ Market. Participants will include government agencies, nonprofits and community-based organizations, including the Cat Adoption Team.

Bridgetown Invitational Bowling Tournament

The Cat Adoption Team is pleased to have been selected as the 2016 Non-Profit Partner of the Bridgetown Invitational Tournament (BIT). BIT selects a non-profit partner each year at their annual meeting. At year end, BIT will give 60% of their remaining capital to the selected non-profit partner – in addition to other donated items. Thank you for choosing CAT!

Oct. 7-9, 2016, BIT is holding their annual tournament. The Bridgetown Invitational Bowling Tournament is a mixed competition tournament open to men and women by invitation only. It is required that all entrants hold current season adult USBC membership cards or purchase adult standard membership prior to participation.
