CAT’s mission is to work with our community to save the lives of homeless, sick and injured cats and kittens by offering shelter, adoption, foster, hospice, and veterinary services to end needless feline euthanasia in our community.

Cat Food Bank

Description:

Providing food to keep cats with the families who love them:

  • Cat and kitten food only
  • Distributed to cat owners in need of financial assistance
  • Approximately one month’s supply of cat food given for up to four cats
  • Clients may receive food for 5 months in a row - then must take a 2 month break
  • Open the first Sunday of the month from 12 – 2 pm
  • No transportation provided to CAT’s Sherwood shelter
  • CAT’s Sherwood shelter address 14175 SW Galbreath Dr., Sherwood, OR
  • Donations of unopened, unexpired cat/kitten food (dry and canned) are welcome
  • Donations of clumping cat litter also accepted
  • Available to any cat owner in financial need regardless of what county they reside
  • At this time CAT’s Cat Food Bank is designed to help cat owners, not feral cat caregivers or rescue organizations.

CAT does ask that all cats receiving food from the Cat Food Bank be spayed/neutered. If your cat is not fixed, CAT can provide information on subsidized surgeries when you come to the food bank your first time.

CAT’s Virtual Fundraiser: Care-a-Thon

Because you love cats and already have too many events to go to. This is a purr-fect virtual event!

CAT’s Care-a-Thon offers:

Personalized fundraising to help the cats and kittens at the shelter. Create a fundraising web page for you or your own cat. Then encourage your friends, family, co-workers, and dog-lovers (hee hee) to support you in helping homeless cats. In fact, we challenge you to get 12 of your friends to donate (12 for our 12th anniversary).

Online auction for those of you who love stuff, thrive on excitement, and aren’t afraid to pounce on a great item with a high bid. CAT’s first ever virtual auction opens April 26 and ends on May 10. Adopt a Cat at PetSmart

Description:

Cat Adoption Team kitties are onsite every day at PetSmart. CAT volunteers are there over the weekend to help you adopt your kitty right from the outreach center.
