Feine Fix-a-Thon: Subsidized Spay/Neuter for Cats

Spaying/Neutering is the only way to end cat overpopulation

Qualified cat owners can take advantage of CAT’s Fix-a-Thon prices

•Appointments available between January 11 - February 18, 2010
•Surgeries performed by veterinarians at CAT’s full service feline hospital located at CAT’s shelter - 14175 SW Galbreath Dr., Sherwood
•Cats/kittens must be 10 weeks old; 2½ pounds; and healthy
•No feral cats please (contact the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon for assistance)
•Clients may also receive a bag of cat food from CAT’s pet food bank
•Clients will receive ‘after’ surgery care instructions

Individuals who may not qualify for the subsidized fees, can utilize the reduced price coupon offered by the Oregon Spay/Neuter Fund.

*Qualified means the person or family in financial need who may be receiving governmental or public assistance.

Description:

Beginning December 26 and ending on January 30, we will be selling $10 raffle tickets to win a 42” big screen TV just in time for the big game.

Only 1,000 raffle tickets will be sold.

We are drawing the winner at our “Superbowl Pick Party” at CAT (14175 SW Galbreath Dr., Sherwood) on Saturday, January 30, at 10:30 am, where we will have some of our feline residents use their sports forecasting abilities and choose the winner of the February 1 Super Bowl.

  • Winner need not be present to win.
  • Must be Oregon resident or purchase tickets in Oregon.
  • Prize suggested total retail value $1,200.
  • Prize winner assumes responsibility for all fees and taxes, including transportation, licensing, registration fees, and local, state, and federal taxes.
  • The Cat Adoption Team is required to comply with all IRS regulations pertaining to reporting of all winnings over $600.
