Cat Adoption Team kitties are onsite every day at PetSmarts across the area and at the Tualatin Petco.
CAT volunteers are there over the weekend to help you adopt your kitty right from the outreach center.

The Cat Adoption Team is hosting its Beat the Heat Feline Fix-a-Thon through September 4, and offering subsidized spay/neuter surgeries. Qualified* families or individual cat owners can have their female cat or kitten spayed for $20 and male cat or kitten neutered for $10.
Over 22,000 cats were euthanized in shelters across Oregon in 2007 (11,404 in Portland area alone) – spaying/neutering cats is the most effective way to reduce the number of unwanted cats.
Feline Fix-a-Thon details:
•Call (503) 925-8903 to schedule a Fix-a-Thon appointment; call now as available appointment times may fill up quickly
•Appointments available between August 10 - September 4, 2009
•Surgeries performed by veterinarians at CAT’s full service feline hospital located at CAT’s shelter - 14175 SW Galbreath Dr., Sherwood
•Cats/kittens must be 10 weeks old; 2½ pounds; and healthy
•No feral cats please (contact the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon for assistance)
•Clients may also receive a bag of cat food from CAT’s pet food bank
•Clients will receive ‘after’ surgery care instructions
*Qualified means the person or family in financial need who may be receiving governmental or public assistance
