Our mission is to save the lives of homeless, unwanted, sick, and injured cats and to work with our community to provide feline expertise and quality programs and services for people and cats.
Currently we achieve this mission by
• Providing shelter, medical care, evaluation, and treatment to cats who have become homeless
• Finding homes for the cats and kittens in our care
• Providing people who care for cats with resources, education, and support to help keep human-animal bonds strong and prevent cats from becoming homeless
• Offering low-cost spay/ neuter services to cat owners in need to prevent the births of unwanted litters
• Working closely with other animal organizations to implement projects and programs that positively impact cats at a community and regional level

CAT experienced some dips during the recession. As we began to emerge on the other side, we had some great successes. A huge thank you to CAT’s donors, volunteers, and adopters for their continued support.
Cat Food Bank:
To ensure optimal health of the cats in the shelter, CAT cannot accept any used cat items. Our Thrift Store does not accept those items either.

Our forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, e-mail address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), address, interests, and similar information. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers unless you choose to make a donation via credit card through our secure server.
CAT does not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you voluntarily submit such information to us. This information is used solely by CAT for internal purposes.
CAT does not sell or otherwise make available its donors’ private information to businesses or other charities. CAT does not collect information for commercial marketing and does not share its donor list.
Use of information:
CAT respects your privacy and has instituted policies intended to ensure your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. We may use this information to deliver to you information about CAT, as well as for trend analysis, pattern detection, and website administration. Non-personal demographic and profile data is used to tailor your experience at our website, showing you content we think you might be interested in. Occasionally, CAT may contact registered visitors who have provided their personally identifiable information through the website in order to conduct surveys seeking feedback about their experience on this website. These surveys are used for quality assurance purposes to improve our level of customer service.

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our website, we ask them for the friend’s name and e-mail address. CAT will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the website. CAT stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail.
